Shopping: 명동 (Myeong-dong)
The live guide lists Myeongdong Special Tourist Zone as an area. If you are looking for a particular shop or brand, check the exact branch, current hours and stock separately; the area label does not confirm that a particular business is open.
Street life and a nearby park: 성수 (Seongsu) and 서울숲 (Seoul Forest)
The live guide lists Seongsu Café Street and Seoul Forest as separate areas. A café-and-shop visit and a park walk need different amounts of time and preparation. Pop-ups and seasonal events change, so do not rely on old travel articles as current schedules.
Culture and craft: 인사동 (Insadong)
Visit Seoul groups Insa-dong and Ikseon-dong in its area guide. Streets and venues within the area are not interchangeable. Decide what you want to see—such as an exhibition, craft venue or tea culture—and check that specific venue’s date, admission and access information.
Events and evening plans: 홍대 (Hongdae)
Hongdae Special Tourist Zone is also included in the live guide. Performance schedules and business hours vary by day. If you plan an evening out, check how you will return to your accommodation and the latest public-transport schedule.
Market atmosphere: 광장시장 (Gwangjang Market)
A market may contain separate food, clothing and other businesses, each with its own hours. Seoul’s traditional-market guide can provide background, but check the current market and individual-stall information before making a trip.
Plan by interest, time and access—not just map distance
Nearby points on a map can still involve station exits, hills, crossings, queues and breaks. Group a few places in one area, leave time between stops and use a current map or transit app for the route on the day.
